I stayed at a great hostel that was located in a central area near Taksim. It was very convenient as there was a bus stop close by, and I could easily access the rest of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were modern and clean. I had a comfortable bed with clean linens, and the shared bathrooms were almost always spotless. Plus, the hostel had a fantastic rooftop terrace with a beautiful view where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning.

That the rooftop terrace could get quite noisy, as there was no soundproofing or separate door to block out the noise from the rest of the hostel.

Great location, 5-10 mins walk to Taksim Square. Welcoming staff and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for new travelers. Amazing rooftop bar and facilities.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel near Taksim square! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the airport bus stop and Taksim metro station. It was so convenient to explore the city from here. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and nice bathroom. And let's not forget the amazing view from the rooftop terrace! Highly recommend this place!

One small downside was that the Turkish bath they recommended didn't seem clean to me.

wabi sabi hostel Istanbul was an amazing experience! rooms were clean & comfy, staff was kind & helpful, & the breakfast had a great city view. the vibe was calm & the rooftop bar had breathtaking views. exceeded my expectations!

Shower doors didn't close properly.

The room we stayed in exceeded our expectations. It was cozy and had a queen size bed, private bathroom, and a balcony. We got more than we expected for the cheap price we paid.

The check-in time was quite late, at 3 pm. It would have been more convenient if we could have checked in earlier, especially if we arrived in the morning.
